Modernism was a movement spanning from the late 19th century to the mid 20th century. This period of time was marked by drastic change with both industrialization and World War. The art from this period shows the disillusionment and sense of loss that came as a result of this drastic change.

I really like the picture you chose for your infographic because it is one of those pieces that essentially has no context but the viewer can see it in any way they possibly can think of. I think it really portrays the sense of disillusionment and sense of loss, like you stated.
